A Safer, Greener, Better-Connected Irvine.

Starting in District 6.

I’m Scotty Hong - Ready to Serve District 6.

I’m running for Irvine City Council, District 6 to protect what makes our city exceptional: public safety, clean streets, careful planning, and city government that is disciplined, accountable, and focused on results.

As Chief Policy Advisor to Mayor Larry Agran, I work every day at City Hall on policy development, intergovernmental coordination, and moving Irvine’s priorities from discussion to implementation. I understand how decisions are made, how projects move forward, and how to ensure real follow-through.

District 6 sits at the intersection of Irvine’s future — where housing, jobs, UCI, local businesses, and transportation meet along the Jamboree corridor. It is the heart of what I call Jamboree Village: a growing part of Irvine that deserves careful planning, stronger mobility, public safety resources, and city services held to Irvine’s highest standards.

I’m asking for your support to bring disciplined, neighborhood-first leadership to City Hall — and deliver results for District 6.

A Practical Plan for District 6

District 6 sits at the intersection of Irvine’s future — where housing, jobs, and UCI meet along the Jamboree corridor. My plan focuses on Jamboree Village, sidewalk completion, expanded Irvine CONNECT, and a stronger public safety presence — without lowering Irvine’s standards.
